To begin this article, I just want to say that the internet is rife with misinformation and recycled information that doesn’t get to you entirely correct. There is a post going around about the new 2023 Topps Chrome Update Rookie Debut Patch Autographs only being in the Breaker’s Delight boxes or certain cards being redemption only, to a “white glove exchange”. For those who don’t know, a “white glove exchange” means that Topps will send these redemptions with the “utmost care, attention, and service.” However, Topps has NOT officially used this term in their announcement. What is the Rookie Debut Patch Autograph Card?

“The Rookie Debut Patch Autograph Card is one of the biggest innovations in trading cards in years and can be found in 2023 Topps Chrome Update Series. This 1/1 card features the player’s on-card autograph and the Debut Patch from their game-worn uniform. This is a unique historical item for every fan and collector to commemorate a player’s first MLB game.”

Which players have a Rookie Debut Patch Autograph Card?

When will I receive my RDPA card?
