We've shipped one of our biggest updates yet — giving sellers real profitability insights and smoothing out shipping. Here's everything that's new.
📊 New Profitability Dashboard (Sellers)
Your analytics just got a major upgrade:
- Total Profits, Total Costs, and Total Margins — see your real bottom line at a glance.
- Profit Over Time — a new chart tracking your profitability trend.
- Top Performing Breaks — toggle between your top breaks by Revenue or by Margin.
- Expenses included in Total Costs — expenses you log are now factored into your costs automatically, by date.
- Shipping revenue vs. label costs — a new breakdown so you can see shipping as its own line.
📦 Smarter Inventory & True Cost Tracking (Sellers)
We now track your cost of goods accurately, per purchase batch (FIFO) — so every break reflects what your product actually cost you:
- Adding a product with a quantity now automatically creates a received order/batch.
- Completing a break automatically draws down inventory and records the true cost consumed.
- Each break now shows Expected Revenue alongside your real Cost and Profit.
- Product Cost Price is now managed through Orders (your purchase batches), keeping your numbers consistent.
🧾 Full Fee & Payment Transparency (Sellers)
- Order details now show Payment Processing Fees and your Net Proceeds.
- Each order shows the payment method used (Stripe or PayPal), so the fee is easy to verify.
- Processing fees are calculated on the full amount charged (including shipping) at the correct rate for each processor.
🏷️ New: "Sold Elsewhere" (Sellers)
Sold a spot on another platform? You can now mark a slot as "Sold Elsewhere."
- Record the platform (Whatnot, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Website, or Other), plus buyer name, contact, shipping address, fees, and notes — all optional.
- Sold-elsewhere spots are counted in your profitability, so your reporting stays complete.
- The buyer's name shows in your break results, and you can undo it anytime.
🚚 Shipping Improvements & Fixes
- Guest / anonymous buyer shipments now appear correctly in your shipments list.
- Fixed shipping-rate matching so the right rate lands on the right shipment.
- Fixed shipping address handling.
- Shipping label costs are now tracked accurately and feed into your analytics.
🐛 Other Fixes & Polish
- Order status now always displays correctly (no more "Unknown").
- Numerous accuracy, layout, and stability improvements across the seller dashboard.
