🆕 New Features
One Use Per Address on Promo Codes
Promo codes can now be limited to one redemption per shipping address, in addition to the existing per-user limits.
Available as a One use per address toggle when creating or editing a code — on both the breaker promo screens and the admin promo screen. Codes with it switched on show a 1 / Address badge in the list.
This closes a gap where someone could create several accounts and redeem the same code repeatedly. Per-user limits can't see across accounts; this can.
Existing codes are unaffected — the setting starts switched off on every code, and nothing changes until a breaker turns it on.
✨ Fixes & Improvements
Livestream Video Quality
Fixed an issue where a breaker's video could look sharp for a couple of minutes and then drop to very poor quality, over and over, for the whole stream. This affected breakers streaming from a high-resolution camera, where the extra encoding work was overloading their computer and forcing the video framerate down.
- Streams now use a single video encoding again, which restores steady framerate for those setups.
- The automatic quality adjustment has been simplified so it no longer steps a stream's quality up and down repeatedly during recovery.
Checkout & Cart
You will never be charged for a spot that was taken while you were checking out. Previously, if someone else bought a spot after you started checkout, the payment could still go through for a smaller total, leaving you charged without receiving the spot you expected.
- If a spot in your cart is claimed during checkout, the payment is now refused before any money moves, and the message names the spot — for example, "Yankees is no longer available, so we didn't charge you." Your cart updates to match.
- This applies to both card and PayPal checkout.
- Also fixed: orders that came to $0 after a full discount could overwrite another buyer's ownership of a spot they had already paid for.
Breaks That Have Ended
Leftover spots on a break that has finished or been cancelled can no longer be purchased. Previously they stayed buyable, so a buyer could pay for a spot in a break that was already over.
Blocked in both places it matters: the spot can't be added to a cart, and if one was already sitting in a cart from earlier, checkout refuses it and explains why rather than taking payment.
Breaks List
The Breaks list now refreshes on its own when a break finishes, so completed breaks move out of the live view without needing a page reload.
Replay Downloads
- Fixed replay downloads producing a file that wouldn't play correctly — the audio track wasn't being described properly in the downloaded video.
- The Download button now shows a spinner and disables itself while the file is being prepared, so it's clear the download has started.
Shipping Notifications
Shipping notifications now use the breaker's store name rather than their personal nickname, so buyers see the business they actually purchased from.
